Jamie Bowden’s volleyball journey began at the age of 10, playing competitively through her high school years. As a player, she experienced great success with her teams, building a strong foundation of skills, resilience, and teamwork. After stepping away from the sport for a time, Jamie rediscovered her passion for volleyball through coaching in 2021.

Since then, she has coached at both the competitive club level and high school varsity level, bringing a well-rounded perspective to player development. Jamie believes that volleyball is more than just a game — it’s a powerful platform for teaching life skills such as discipline, communication, leadership, and perseverance. She is passionate about helping athletes grow not only on the court, but also into confident, well-rounded individuals.

When she’s not coaching, Jamie enjoys spending quality time with her husband and daughter, embracing the same values of teamwork and commitment she brings to her teams.

From an early age, she immersed herself in the world of competitive volleyball, where she honed her skills and developed a profound love for the sport. Her athletic journey continued at Niagara University in Lewiston, New York, where she further developed her skills, both on and off the court, on the collegiate volleyball team. After hanging up her collegiate volleyball shoes, she remained deeply connected to the sport, actively participating in competitive adult leagues. This ongoing engagement with volleyball reflects her enduring love for the game that she brings to the sidelines as a coach.

Hallie strives to be a well-rounded volleyball coach and believes that the sport transcends the court and teaches invaluable life skills. Drawing from her own experiences, she focuses on mentoring her players and setting a positive example.
